Melissa and Robert's wedding day was so peaceful and full of joy and love. From the moment I arrived at Kennesaw Farms, Melissa smiled from ear to ear, and the happiness and warmth from her friends and family radiated throughout the day. The sunlight beamed through the windows as the girls donned their dresses and helped Melissa into her gorgeous lace gown. The plantation-style home, complete with a wrap-around staircase and beautiful chandelier, was like something out of Southern Weddings Magazine. It was the perfect setting for a gorgeous Tennessee wedding!
Melissa and Robert had the sweetest first look in the sun room of Kennesaw Farms. I just love the way he looked at her when he saw her. Before making our way to the church, we spent some time exploring downtown Gallatin with the bridal party and the excited bride and groom! I love when weddings have a timeline that allows for a little bit of flexibility, which leaves more room for fun, creative bridal party shots! Speaking of shots, Robert's groomsmen were pretty talented at shotgunning those beers!
Melissa and Robert had a beautiful ceremony in a historic church in Gallatin, Tennessee. The light fell in all the right places and Robert's face lit up just the way it did during their first look when he saw Melissa come down the aisle.
After the sweet church ceremony, we headed back to Kennesaw Farms, where beautiful tables adorned with purple and gold were arranged. It was an elegant reception, with heartfelt speeches from some of Melissa's sisters, and a huge dance party with the cutest kid ever stealing the show. I had a blast documenting this wedding in Tennessee and I hope to shoot another beautiful, southern wedding again soon.
