Tara and Matt were married at The Cathedral of the Incarnation, and while I don’t prefer to shoot weddings in churches opposed to shooting outdoors (natural light is gorgeous!), if I had to choose a church to shoot in, this would rank high on my list. The church was so full of light and rainbows that danced off the purple hues of the bridesmaids and the sequins in Tara’s dress.
I had the opportunity to second shoot this wedding with Nashville wedding photographer Chesley Summar, and I enjoyed it so much! Getting to second shoot opens up so many possibilities for me as a photographer. Because the primary photographer always handles the timeline, contact with the couple, and other responsibilities that I take on when I shoot your wedding, I get to spend my time hunting for the best light, the neat little hiding places to shoot through, things that push my creative limits, and inspire me to shoot more like that at my own weddings.
Matt and Tara’s reception at Union Station was such a blast. I love it when guests get down and party. It makes shooting receptions so much more fun! Enjoy the images!
